Pluto Return in the United States

Pluto Return in the United States

The United States of America is soon approaching what astrologers call a Pluto Return. This means that Pluto returns to the exact same spot it was at when America was founded on July 4, 1776.

Just like us, countries, and even companies, have their own unique birth charts. For America, this country was founded as a Sagittarius Rising, Cancer Sun, and an Aquarius moon.

About Pluto

Pluto is the planet of destruction and rebirth. It tears things apart to bring on healing and transformation. This planet moves so slowly that it takes nearly 247 years to return to it's natal placement. Therefore, this will be the first ever Pluto Return for the United States of America.

It's intense, exciting, but also terrifying. The best advice I can give for this one is to just go with the flow. There is absolutely nothing that can be done with this transit. It is unstoppable. While it is uncomfortable, it's going to happen regardless.

Pluto Return in America's Birth Chart

We have been in the process of tearing down old structures and beliefs to make room for something new and better. Our country is going downhill but that's to be expected with such a major transit. It's no surprise that everything is "falling apart".

Since this return will take place in America's second house of Capricorn, this transit will affect our values and finances incredibly. Businesses will take a big hit to this transit as well.

Pluto wants us to get uncover hidden truths and Capricorn wants us to grow up and take responsibility. When Pluto first moved into Capricorn in 2008, we went through the Great Recession Period here in America. Pluto destroys and then rebuilds and transforms while Capricorn rules the dollar bill.

What's To Come?

Pluto wants us to dig deep into the darkness and see what's not working for us. It investigates, represses, hurts, it can get pretty dang ugly. While I don't want to say that there will be a civil war, I can honestly say that I will not be surprised if there isn't one.

The ignorant act of violence and racism against George Floyd was the tip of the iceberg. The movement was one of the biggest ones yet in support of Black Lives Matter.

Pluto digs up the truth and it exposes secrets. Police brutality has been going on for a long time but the death of George Floyd outraged the entire country like never before. This was when we all came together and said that things needed to change once and for all.

This is a time where we are questioning the beliefs of this country and questioning the government and authority. We want the truth so we can take the steps needed to rebuild our country.

An example of Pluto Return for a country is the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire has went through a Pluto Return twice. However, the Roman Empire has Pluto in Cancer, and America is the opposition sign of Capricorn. Same concept of a Pluto Return, but different values.

Cancer focuses on home and family life while Capricorn represents businesses and finances.

Transits of Pluto's Return in America

During this Pluto-Pluto transit on February 20, 2022 the planet of action and war, Mars, will also conjunct to America's natal Pluto. Venus, the planet of finances, values, and justice will also be apart of this conjunction.

This is taking place under the corporate sign of Capricorn. With Mercury in opposition to Pluto, we begin to question more about the matters of truth in this country.

This transit will have all of us wanting change, seek justice, transform our country, and rethink our actions. It is rebuilding new structures and ways of living.

Pluto In Aquarius

Through 2023, Pluto moves out of Capricorn and dips its toes into Aquarius for a short period of time before retrograding back into Capricorn. This gives us a little taste of what's to come, but will only be the beginning.

In April 2024, Pluto moves into Aquarius for good and stays here until the year 2044. Aquarius is a humanitarian sign and accepts everybody and everything for as it is. This will begin new ways of life like we have never seen before.

The last time Pluto was in Aquarius, we went through a major uproar of changes from 1778-1798. The Revolutionary War happened during Pluto's stay in Aquarius. So as I said, I don't want to fear-monger with thoughts of civil war but if there is something that we all can agree on, it's that history always repeats itself.
