RAISING YOUR AQUARIUS

Your little Aquarius wants to be independent and do things their own way. You must teach them that there are rules to follow in life whether we like them or not. Your child wants to feel understood because they are always feeling so different from the world around them.

Your child is eccentric and will enjoy all things weird and throws them into the rabbit hole. Bring out the alien movies and talk about conspiracies! Watch your little Aquarius’ eyes light up. This child is all about teamwork so if you see them doing something, offer to lend a hand! The more people, the better. Interaction is important to your Aquarius. They thrive on socializing. Your little Aquarius will also be quick to stand up for the underdogs too. This is the sign of justice and humanity after all.

Little Aquarius’s make the best friends. They are funny, easy going, and brilliant! They will enjoy sharing their ideas with others. However, they can be very mischievous as well! They will do anything to hear others laugh and give themselves a good laugh.

NURTURING YOUR AQUARIUS

Try to be easy on your Aquarius child when they are acting up. They want to be seen and understood. Encourage them to talk about their feelings and get in touch with their emotions. If an Aquarius holds it all on for way too long, they are likely to explode! They can easily turn from easy going to demanding.

Even though Aquarius gets the reputation for “always changing”, they are still a fixed sign. This means they can be stubborn in their ways and fear doing things differently. This sign is Saturn Ruled and will still want some structure in life. Providing your Aquarius with a predictable routine will help them feel secure. Just don’t be surprised if they soon try to twist and shape the routine to fit them better. Just let them do it.

disciplining

So, your little Aquarius is way too rebellious, huh? Have they pushed your buttons for the last time? This sign rules rebellion if they feel caged in. Do not box your Aquarius to fit your standards. It won’t work. They break rules and do things how they see fit. This won’t be good for them as they mature so it’s important to correct the behavior now.

Let them know it’s okay if they don’t like the rules, but they still need to abide by them. Aquarius doesn’t like to feel that others have control over them. Tell them rules are needed and that they are still equal to authority. Teach them about cooperation and tell them how the world works. Get your little Aquarius into a sport that will help them develop discipline and focus.

education

Your little one will want as much social interaction in their school life as possible! Projects that require teamwork will be beneficial for them. Aquarius is brilliant and innovative so they might end up figuring out how to work problems in ways that make no sense to others, but perfect sense to them.

Watch out though! This one will be rebellious even if they become a teacher pet. Aquarius doesn’t like to follow the rules and traditional standards do not sit right with this sign! They can land themselves in the principal’s office more than once just because they believe that nobody holds power over them. You must teach your child to obey and respect authority early on.

The good news is, Aquarius’ want to be known for being smarter than everybody around them. This child can have a competitive side and is always trying to make honor roll and get higher grades than their peers. They can easily become overwhelmed by this desire of trying to be the best though, so teach them to slow down and not be so anxious.
